The comments section of a dictionary article can contain comments of any sort. They can be comments on the definition, on the scope of usage of the term, on advantages of the term over a competing term, on distadvantages of the term, and so on.

Note that the comments should not be too long, and should not talk in detail about the phenomenon denoted by the term. For discussions of phenomena, Glottopedia has survery articles. Dictionary articles are articles about terms, not about phenomena.
