Entries on (living) linguists should be limited to links (especially to the linguist's personal web page), plus perhaps a list of publications. They are a special article type and are in the category Category:LINGUIST.

Allowing to add information about a living linguist's life and contribution would potentially create big problems, because personality rights would be affected. By contrast, such information is appropriate for dead linguists, who can get a biographical article.

Since such "articles" on living linguists are very brief, there is no need to have them in several different languages.
