This article is as short as a dictionary article, but its character is clearly that of a survey article, because it is about a phenomenon, not about a term. So it would be good if it could be enlarged.
I also wonder whether it should be called "Explanation in linguistics", because Glottopedia focuses linguistic issues, and not with general phenomena and concepts that are relevant also outside linguistics. --Haspelmath 18:44, 17 July 2007 (CEST)
